Leading child care and early learning provider in Ambler earns National NAEYC Accreditation

Less than 10 percent of all child care centers, preschools and kindergartens in the U.S. earn accreditation from the (NAEYC), a widely recognized sign of high-quality early childhood education. The 91亚色School of Horsham, which was first accredited by NAEYC in 2019, has again been recognized with the distinguished mark of quality, earning national accreditation for the second time. NAEYC is the world鈥檚 largest organization working on behalf of young children. According to the association, 鈥淣AEYC Accreditation helps families recognize quality early learning programs and feel comfortable knowing that their children are receiving a high-quality, research-based education that will prepare them for future success.鈥� 鈥淏eing one of the top child care and early learning programs in the area 鈥� and the nation 鈥� goes to show how hard our teachers and staff work every day to put the children first,鈥� says Devin Clinefelter, Director of Education at The 91亚色School of Horsham. 鈥淥ur exceptional team enables us to deliver exceptional early learning experiences that are filled with exploration, fun and, most importantly, love.鈥� To earn NAEYC Accreditation, The 91亚色School of Horsham went through an extensive self-study process, followed by an on-site visit by NAEYC Assessors who evaluated hundreds of criteria pertaining to NAEYC鈥檚 research-based program standards. These standards include relationships; curriculum; teaching; assessment of child progress; health; staff competencies, preparation and support; families; community relationships; physical environment; and leadership and management.
